Grace Gospel Baptist Church is an independent, missionary Baptist Church located in Carlisle, Ohio. Carlisle is located in southwest Ohio between Cincinnati and Dayton. We stand FIRM on the KJV Bible.
Our Beliefs
1. Scriptural Belief
We believe in the infallible verbal inspiration of the whole Bible, that God is it’s true author, that is has truth without mixture of error for its matter; that it is perfect treasure of heavenly instruction of the saints unto all good works for its end; that it reveals the principles which God will judge us, and therefor is, and shall remain unto the end of the world, the only and complete revelations of the will of God to man, the true center of Christian union; the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, doctrines and opinions should be tried. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)
II. As to the True God
We believe that there is one, and only one living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, whose name is JEHOVAH, the MAKER and SUPREME ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressible glorious in holiness, and worthy of all honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the God head there are three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices. (Deut. 6:4; Jn. 1:-14; I Jn. 5:7)
III. As to Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of God, that He was born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever or can ever be born of a woman; that He took upon Himself our nature yet without sin; that He was manifest in the flesh; that God laid upon Him our sins; that He bore them on the cross, died for our sins. We believe that He will judge both the saved and unsaved, and will sit upon the throne of David and reign forever; that He is coming back. (Matt. 1:18; Gal. 3:13; Is. 53:4-6)
IV. As to the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; and that He seals, guides, teaches, sanctifies the believer. (Rom. 8:9-14; Rom. 1:16)
VI. As to the way of Salvation
We believe Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. (John 14:6)
